Hello again from the Ateneo de Davao !

"Palarong Atenista" was a 3-day activity during the AdDU Fiesta. It was definitely a showcase of the physical and mental abilities of our AdDU students.

First prize winners of the games were:

Dart: Engineering for both the men and women's division
Chess: Computer Science for both the men and women's division
Scrabble: Accountancy for both the men and women's division
Table Tennis (singles): Accountancy for both the men and women's division
Table Tennis (doubles): Business Administration for the men and Accountancy for the women
Volleyball: Accountancy for the men and Nursing for the women
Basketball: Business Administration from both the men and women's division

As expected, the basketball and volleyball games generated the greatest noise from the audiences. The games were exciting. Although not a part of the Palarong Atenista, an activity that many of our students tried was the "Edge Wall", a wall climbing challenge that was set up near the University Chapel. Some of the students manning the wall climbing challenge invited me to try climbing the wall. But accepting my senior citizen status, I graciously declined their invitation.
